Heart of the City
Yesterday the light drizzle was bracing...
The way the MRT station and office blocks are set up is such that there is almost a crossroads of sorts where two paths meet. Didn't plan on a prayer walk after work, but theres something about standing right dead center of the heart of raffles place that stirs something in me.
Could sense His Presence, and we just sorta communed for a while, until the drizzle turned into a shower, marking the end of that time. Now pacing up and down, now standing quietly and staring at the towers of office blocks reaching up to the sky - Hm... modern day tower of babel? :) wouldnt be too far off - now staring at the sculpture.
The sculpture! There was this sculpture, a ship with a full sail catching the wind. God dropped a thought in my heart... ah shd have wrote it down - i can't remember exactly. Something like: "I am in your sails"
Lord, all I want is all You want for me. I pull up my oars and raise my sail. Blow me where You want me to go.
And Lord,
may Your net always be full, because we dare to sail out to sea. - Author (not un)known.
