Giving Thanks
...for the good meeting with MM... You were there Lord, and we sharpen each other.
That our makeup is so different, is undeniable. The we struggle, too, with so many aspects of church, is acknowledged. But that we serve the same God, in an imperfect church, for His perfect Will to be done on earth and in heaven - binds us. That we submit to men that are far from perfect, but nonetheless give their wholehearted devotion, tested over a lifetime, to one God and one church, makes for something most rare and wonderful in the world today.
And we're glad to be a small part of it.
Search our hearts, build the body, refine Your church, Lord.
... for rest... can someone say hallelujah when the alarm clock goes off at 11.. and its promptly shut off :p
... for when i wake up to a huge saturday brunch made by my bro...
... for when, right in the middle of parkway parade, God tears me away from this world for a few minutes with a video of matt redman n his band...
