Fellowship of the Burning Heart

They asked each other, "Were not our hearts burning within us while he talked with
us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us?" - Luke 24:32

What a weekend :)

Thank You Lord, for all You've done. Thank you for close friends and brothers and
sisters who are willing to take that step of faith... to consider following you
wherever You may lead.

If there was ever a group of people to catch up with in 20 yrs time, this was it...
a gathering of your children who are willing to give up the current world, for a
better world.

Some, might be single, for life if need be.

Some of them might be pastors, some leaders, some missionaries, some marketplace
ministers, and in all possibility ...

Some of them might be dead.

At the very least, most of them will be poorer than they would have been if they had not chosen this path. Questions asked quietly and solemnly around the room in hushed groups like "would i have enough to marry and start a family?", "How do you survive on that type of money?"

Mm.. no not some of them. Some of us. This day I choose to stand with them, wherever
that may lead.

In all my sinfulness, weakness, brokenness, I choose You.
