Open Hands

Sitting here its another surreal day :) Whoever said God was silent deserves to be given a face that looks like its been baptised in lemon juice.

MSN nicks speak to me, daily devotions cut to the heart, wonds and phrases appear in the most 'coincedental' ways and the Word of God busies itself, deftly dividing soul and spirit.

A christians' life is a lot of things, but it sure isn't boring.. chihuahua.

In this past months of seeking and praying God's will, I find He has brought me to journey far, and as I look back, the baggage I have left behind tumbles into the darkness.. I cannot return the way I came, but im humbled that the pilgrimage has allowed me to travel lighter and faster.

As on that cool mission trip morning with the VOIDers, once again Dad, I humbly come and lay it all down at the altar. Take my job, my family, my money, my time, my relationships, my lifestyle, my strengths, my weaknesses and my life itself. Take it all.

Dad, see these open hands. If there is anything not from You that I am holding on to, take it away. If there is something that is from You that You are giving me, I receive it with thanks, for every good gift comes from You!

Amen.
