A Narrow Gate... and A Narrow Road

Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. - John 14:6
There is one gate. There is one God. There is one mediator between God and man. Not all roads lead to heaven.
If you're saved, you're not saved because you've said a prayer, you're saved because God died for you and God took our sin upon himself.
The cross is not a measure of how much a person is worth, it is a measure of how depraved we are, that it took the death of God's own son under the wrath of His own Fathe, to save us.
BUT, Not only is the gate narrow, but the road is narrow.
We are saved because we repent of our sins, believe in the gospel and follow God. And we continue to repent of our sins and follow God. You will know the tree from its fruit.
What is the sign of genuine christianity? You do as a style of life, the will of the Father. You profession of faith. If you are always doing things of the world, in the world, there is a good chance you know not God.
Its not "God can't do that, God cannot hate because He is love." God hates *because* He is love. If we love children, we hate abortion. If we love godliness, we hate sin.
The most important thing in the world is not that you know Jesus, but that Jesus knows you.
Its not about works, but its about evidence of faith. The description of the lost man is: "Depart from me, those of you who claim to be my disciples and yet live as though I never gave you a law to obey".
